South Hill is a lovely residential neighborhood located between Bellingham Bay and Western Washington University. The homes are a nice mix of craftsman style cottages and stately old mansions. Most homes overlook Bellingham Bay and can enjoy sunset views, fireworks over the Bay on the 4th of July and Sunday sailboat races. With its location and stunning views it tends to have the highest relative prices of any neighborhood in Bellingham.
The lower section of South Hill is home to several condominium developments that line both State Street and the Boulevard. This area is the main route between Bellingham’s historic Fairhaven District and downtown Bellingham. Below the condos you will find Boulevard Park, a beautiful place to enjoy an evening picnic and water views. It is a popular place to enjoy the 4th of July fireworks display or to bike or walk along its trails.
School aged public school student who live in South Hill will attend Lowell Elementary, Fairhaven Middle School or Sehome High School.
