Distrinctly bordered by Holly, Broadway and North Streets the Letter Street Neighborhood
is one of Bellingham's oldest neighborhoods first settled by
the pioneers of Bellingham. Many of the homes located in the
neighborhood were built by the hands of the middle class working
families in Bellingham during the 1900's.
Many of the original residents of the Lettered Streets have now passed and several
of the residences have no become rentals and duplexes to catter
to those on a budget looking to take advantage of life close
to downtown Bellingham and all the amenities that it has to offer
within walking distance.

The neighborhood is very distint with the 110 blocks of the neighborhood
being filled with well kept character homes of historical significance.
New homes have also been built on vacant lots that keep in similar
style of the originals as to retain the character of the neighborhood.
