Information
One of Bellingham’s most diverse neighborhoods is the Happy Valley Neighborhood. Home to many college aged students attending Western Washington University, senior residence in many of it’s elderly homes, as well as families and bachelors.
The neighborhood is very densely populated with many smaller homes on small city lots, and well as several duplexes and apartment complexes.
Connelly Creek Nature Area serves as the areas greenbelt and is home to many trails that run the full length of the neighborhood. Area residences enjoy the park for walking and exercise throughout the years. There is also the Happy Valley Park for the little ones to play and explore.
Children in Happy Valley attend Happy Valley Elementary School, Fairhaven Middle School and Sehome High School.
