Neighborhood Information
The Columbia neighborhood is one of Bellingham’s older neighborhood and is made up of quiet tree lined streets, craftsman style homes and peaceful parks.
There are many historic turn of the century homes located in this area. Many homes are located along the bluff on Eldridge Drive, each home is distinguished with a plaque naming the original owners as well as the year that the home was built.
The neighborhood is full of parks including Elizabeth park which is the neighborhoods largest park, taking up a full two city blocks. The park plays host to several summer concerts in it’s lovely gazebo and is a central hub for the neighborhoods residents.
