Whatcom Middle School Burns in Overnight Blaze Classes Canceled

If you live or work in Bellingham or Whatcom County chances are you yourself or someone you know attended Whatcom Middle School. Whatcom Middle School was one of the oldest school buildings in the state and the oldest in Whatcom County dating back over 100 years. Classes are canceled for all middle school students today, we will post updates for parents and students on the blog as they become available.

  1. Thank goodness the fire happened at night when the kids weren’t in school. Too bad also that all that money has now been wasted on the retrofitting project.

    Bad situation but at least it happened at night when the kids and teachers and others were at home. Someone was def. watching over that school!
