All the snow enthusiasts will be happy to hear that Artist Point received 4 inches of snow overnight and is now closed for the season. Artist Point is located at the very end of the Mt. Baker Hwy. Artist Point is a summer time hotspot where visitors can enjoy full views of Mt. Baker, Mt. Shuksan and Heather Meadows. Artist Point is also an access point for many hiking trails along mountain ridges boasting incredible mountains and foothill views.

Artist Point closes yearly with the first snowfall of the season. This year’s closure is a week earlier than last year’s closure of October 6th.  Now it’s just time to be patient and wait for more snow to fall and the Mt. Baker Ski Resort to open!
