The Porch at Bellingham Boulevard Park

The Porch at Boulevard Park kicks off it’s first concert from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 20. Cascade Joinery is hosting a dedication concert to christen the new stage and honor the memory of a former employee and inspiration for the Porch, Mark Witter, who passed away five years ago on June 16, 2004. The Porch is inscribed with the following:

The Porch’s concert will feature the Bellingham Youth Jazz band, Howlin’ Wood and the friends of Mark Witter and the Mark Dufresne band.

The murals on the front and back of The Porch were painted by local artist Tom Wood.
