Fairhaven's Historic Dirty Dan!

Come out to Fairhaven this weekend and enjoy one of the most fun and unique festivals in the Northwest, the Fairhaven Dirty Dan Days Festival. Festivities kick off this weekend April 25th and 26th. The festival is located in Bellingham’s historic Fairhaven District with activities centralized in Fairhaven’s Village Green.

The festival kicks off Saturday at 10:30am to 5pm and runs from 12 noon to 4pm on Sunday. Saturday’s events include the Fairhaven 5k run, Mile to Memories, toy boat building for the kids, fish art, salmon tossing, cupcake eating contest and the worlds only known Piano down the streets of Fairhaven! If you have not personally paid witness to the piano race I highly recommend it, if anything just to say you have done it!

Sunday gives way to the Chuckanut Chowder cook off, for $10 you can sample gourmet northwest chowders prepared by locals restaurants and chefs. Place your vote on the chowder which you think is best!
