Historic Neighborhood, Bellingham Washington
Fairhaven was originally founded in 1889 and is a lovely historic
district located on Bellinghams South side. Originally one of
four pioneer settlements on Bellingham Bay which later merged
to become the City of Bellingham. The neighborhood is best known
for its beautifully preserved historical buildings, sixteen on
which are on the state and federal historic register.
Residence of Fairhaven are intensely proud of their community and have taken
great care in preserving the charm and pleasure of their neighborhood.
Currently there are many building projects taking place in Fairhaven,
but you will notice each and every project retains that original
Fairhaven touches that make it a special place
